DIY with Chris giving you the tools to do it yourself hi I’m Chris we’re going to do a short video review on the Black & Decker electric weed whacker this is an 18-footer I’m sorry this is a 20 volt electric weed whacker and it does have a couple different options on here which makes it very nice so it does have an adjusting handle row from manual adjustment you just push in the button and then adjust it and that will help with your height so if you’re very tall and you can do it no no fit if you’re a little bit taller then you can bring the handle down a little bit lower and so that’ll definitely help me out so if you move it up then that will be for your shorter people who have to put it down a little bit lower also on here how you get it to to get going is you do have a safety button so yeah you can push this either way so right here on the rear you have your safety button and you just push either way once you push it then you just pull the trigger and that’s as easy as it is that’s all you have to do to get it going so very easy start system down here at the bottom you’re going to see it does have a safety guard for this which is adjustable it can pull out a little bit the weed system where the whacking system it is a string system and how you load it is you just push these two buttons on the side which are your safety buttons keeps the top on you just push them in and you pull that right out your spool just come slides right in and off this is an automatic feed system so you don’t have to tap the bottom or you don’t have to bump it to feed more wire so it automatically feeds all by itself which makes this a very much better user friendly system once you’re done you just put it back on and that’s as simple as it is the real walks in place inside so you you have the guard right here that you can use they do advertise this as being both a weed whacker and edging system personally I will not use it for the edging system they say that you just turn it over the other way and you go however the power isn’t good enough to really fight through a bunch of grass this definitely isn’t a gas-operated system it doesn’t have the power that would accompany one of those systems however for an electric weed whacker I’m very proud of the power that does have this came with two batteries for it and I’ll show you the batteries now the batteries just this 20 volt battery right here and all it does is just slides right in back and then snaps in place after you’ve done that again you just push the button and pull and now let’s start your system after that to unload it and charge it then you just push the button down and pull back on the battery that one loads it so again even with my item over six feet tall I even though my height I have no problem using the system it has good adjustable handle which I have no problem with the only thing I don’t like is how advertised that it does two edging and it definitely doesn’t work for me to edge with this system so other than that it is a great system done by Black & Decker I have made a trio that comes with it so I got the weed whacker in addition to the air blower so I found done weed whacking edges my wands I can blow the grass off the sidewalk great system for both phone it was around $100 and it came with the batteries the charging system and everything so great system I’m doing another review on the air blower here into this so you can look for that just let me know if you have any questions I’ll be glad to answer them thank you.
